Member Stockholder - Reasons To Join

What Makes The United Group Different?
Transparency  Key points of all supplier contracts, including all group discounts, gross marketing allowances and growth incentive programs, are shared with and always accessible to Members. This sets the stage for honest communication in all our relationships, and it’s the right thing to do.
Profits  At the end of each year, TUG’s net profits are returned to our Members. These second-tier rebates are distributed among Members on a pro-rata basis as related to total gross rebates. We keep operating expenses low and work to maximize rebate dollars returned to Members.
Technology  We have made significant investments of resources in the pursuit of state-of-the-art tools for the group. We created a proprietary, unique-in-our-industry meeting scheduling system for TUG’s Annual Conference, and our online rebate center allows Members to securely monitor their earned rebate dollars in real time, any time.
Ownership  As equal owners, our Members have authority in the decisions and directives of the group. Members are encouraged to network with each other, to serve on market segment committees and special task forces, and to suggest new or improved services and benefits for the group.
Tools  Member Stockholders have a dedicated, secure portal on TUG’s website where they can gather information on Preferred Suppliers, perform product searches, search for fellow Members, utilize the Member Forum for idea exchange, view up to date rebate reports, and collaborate with other Members on multi-unit accounts. TUG publishes its own news magazine, United Connects, with the primary goal of fostering strong relationships between Member Stockholders and Preferred Suppliers.
